Resilient flooring has been around for a long time. The oldest type of resilient, linoleum, has been in existence for over 150 years! If you haven’t seen the new styles and colors in resilient then you may be in for a surprise! Resilient is the name given to products like linoleum, vinyl, rubber and similar products because of the flooring’s solid nature and its ability to flex or “give” a little when walked on. What we used to call sheet vinyl now comes in interesting designs and 12-foot widths which eliminates the seams.
